Kayaker Zupancic Third in Flatwater 1000m at Mediterranean Games

Almeria, 25 June - Slovenian kayaker Jernej Zupancic finished third in the men's K1 flatwater 1000m event at the Mediterranean Games in Almeria on Saturday. Zupancic finished behind Croatia's Stjepan Janic and France's Cyrille Carre. Slovenia now has four medals at the games: one gold, one silver and two bronze.
