LJUBLJANA - The group of eminent persons are to hand to OSCE chairman and Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel a report on how to make this security organisation more efficient. A statement to the press at 1:30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Economic and Social Council is to debate several legislative changes to employment, social security and health care at 2 PM. The drafting of a new social agreement (2006-2008) is also on its agenda.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's second largest insurer Zavarovalnica Maribor is to speak at noon about its five-month business results and a contract with the newspaper publisher Dnevnik. (STA)

MARIBOR - A panel is to debate the reasons behind the recent French "no" to the European constitution at 6 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Results of the latest Politbarometer opinion poll are to be presented to the press at 11 AM. (STA)

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Slovenian Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to attend a session of the EU Council for Transport, Telecommunications and Energy; through Tuesday.

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Slovenian Culture Minister is to attend an informal meeting of EU Council for Education, Youth and Culture.

NEW YORK, the US - Stanislav Rascan of the Slovenian Foreign Ministry is to attend a two-day UN General Assembly high-level dialogue on financing for development.

LJUBLJANA - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to meet the new Bosnian Ambassador to Slovenia Izmir Talic at 9 AM. His agenda also includes a meeting with representatives of the Slovenian minority in Hungary at 4 PM.

ANKARA, Turkey - A delegation of the Slovenian parliamentary European affairs committee led by its chair Anton Kokalj is to begin a four-day official visit to Turkey.

LJUBLJANA - The college of deputy faction leaders and the speaker of the National Assembly are to debate a draft of the parliament's code of ethics at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The winner of the Levstik Award is to be announced as the publisher Mladinska knjiga gears up to celebrate its 60th anniversary, with a news conference at 11 AM.

NOVA GORICA - The 9th international meeting of saxophonists is to get under way with a concert in Nova Gorica's main city square at 9 PM.
