Ljubljana, 27 June - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 28 June:
LJUBLJANA - A four-day conference of the NATO-Russia Council on the fight against terrorism is to get under way, organised by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies and the US mission at NATO in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry. Starts at 8:30 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA/LENDAVA - Hungarian FM Ferenc Somogyi is to visit Slovenia to meet his counterpart Dimitrij Rupel (11:15 AM), PM Janez Jansa (noon), Speaker France Cukjati (1:20 PM) and members of the Hungarian minority (7 PM). Rupel and Somogyi are to talk to the press at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Ivan Zagar, the minister of local government and regional policy, is to present the bill on balanced regional development which envisages the country's division to two cohesion regions for the purposes of EU funding; at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Insurance companies Adriatic and Slovenica are to hold a press conference at 3:30 PM to present the decision of both companies' shareholders to merge. (STA)
VELENJE - PM Janez Jansa and Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak are to meet the management of household appliance maker Gorenje a day ahead of the planned visit of the government cabinet to the region.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to talk to the press at 1:50 PM to talk about the ministry's progress in improving the inappropriate personnel structure.
ZELEZNIKI - Domel, a maker of commutator and electric motors, is to present 2004 results and current performance indicators at a press conference scheduled for 9 AM.
