VELENJE - The government will visit the Savinjsko-Salesko region, east, to meet mayors, MPs and business people. A news conference by PM Janez Jansa is scheduled for 3:15 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The anti-terror conference of the NATO-Russia Council continues behind closed doors; running through Friday.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to decide whether to veto the recently passed act on the public broadcaster, RTV Slovenija, at 2 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A Slovenian-Croatian standing commission for economic affairs is to hold its 8th session to review cooperation; a statement to the press is scheduled for 4:15 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The director of the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development (IMAD) Janez Sustersic is to outline Slovenia's development strategy at 2 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Activity of the Slovenian Chamber of Trade (OZS) and its efforts to promote small enteprise are to be presented to the press at noon.

LJUBLJANA - An international conference on preventing violence and sexual abuse of children, to be held from 5 to 9 July in Ljubljana, is to be presented to the press at noon.

MARIBOR - The 7th conference of Slovenian university chancellors is to discuss a number of issues regarding Slovenia's higher education; a news conference at 12:30 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The upcoming gay pride parade is to be presented to the press by its organisers at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The international street theatre festival Ana Desetnica, to be held until 3 July, is to begin.

KOPER - The Primorsko Summer Festival is to begin.
