Opposition Collects Signatures for Referendum on Broadcaster Law

Ljubljana, 28 June - The opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) have managed to collect 30 signatures from MPs for a subsequent referendum challenging the act on the public broadcaster, RTV Slovenija. LDS leader Anton Rop told the press on Tuesday that the petitioners will wait to see whether the National Council will veto the law before filing the call for a referendum.
