Regulations on Women Quotas for Local Elections to Be Eased

Ljubljana, 29 June - The parliamentary committee for local government has decided to relax the requirements for women quotas at local elections. The initially proposed 25% mandatory quota for the 2006 local elections has thus been reduced to 20%.
