Ljubljana, 30 June - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 1 July:
WASHINGTON, D.C., the US - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, the OSCE chairman, is to meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at 10:15 AM local time as part of his visit to the US and Canada. He is also expected to address the plenary of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly at 2:30 local time. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committees for foreign policy and EU affairs are to hold a joint session at 12:30 PM to get acquainted with the priorities of Great Britain's EU presidency in the second half of the year. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Presidents of coalition parties and the heads of the deputy groups are to review the implementation of the coalition agreement between December and June. PM Janez Jansa is expected to make a statement for the press at 12:40 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The European Commission Representation Office and the British embassy are to hold a joint press conference at 2 PM to outline the priorities of Britain's EU presidency.
LJUBLJANA - The final day of the NATO-Russia Council meeting at which experts are debating ways of jointly tackling terrorist threats.
LJUBLJANA - The parliament's EU affairs committee is to hold an emergency session at 2 PM (closed to the public) to look into the government's proposal to divide Slovenia to two cohesion regions.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce (GZS) is to stage a meeting of experts to discuss the programming of the EU's cohesion and structural funds beyond 2006; at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to organise at 9 AM a public presentation of the proposed bill for the promotion of balanced regional development and the 2007-2013 national development document.
LJUBLJANA - The junior coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) is to talk to the press at 2 PM to present the party's activities after the election of a new leadership in May.
LJUBLJANA - Joze Zagozen, the new chairman of electricity producer Holding slovenske elektrarne (HSE), is to talk to the press at 11 AM to outline his plans.
ROGASKA SLATINA - The Institute of Ethnic and Regional Studies is to stage a seminar and workshops on constitutionally recognised minorities in Slovenia. A press conference is scheduled for 1 PM.
