British EU Presidency to Promote Budget Talks and Enlargement

Ljubljana, 1 July - The British EU presidency will promote negotiations on the next EU financial perspective and advocate further EU enlargement by starting accession talks with Turkey on 3 October, British Ambassador to Slovenia Tim Simmons said as he presented Great Britain's EU presidency plans to Slovenian lawmakers in Ljubljana on Friday.
