Ljubljana, 1 July - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 2 July:
TORONTO, Canada - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to meet representatives of Slovenia living in Canada as part of his multi-day visit to Northern America.
RAVNE NA KOROSKEM - The conference of the Social Democrats, one of the party's governing bodies, is to hold a session at 10 AM to look into Slovenia's environmental policies. A press conference is scheduled for 11:30 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The 5th Gay Pride parade is to get under way at 11 AM, with a series of events scheduled throughout the day. The guiding line of the parade will be the opposition to the recently passed act on civil unions, which gay and lesbian groups have decried as discriminatory.
SENTILJ - A group of erased citizens are to start a hunger strike at the Sentilj border crossing at 2 PM to highlight the predicament of Ali Berisha, who is set to be deported by Germany to Kosovo although he should be returned to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenians living abroad are to convene for the 12th traditional annual meeting, starting at 10 AM.
TRIESTE, Italy - Franc Puksic, the head of the government office for Slovenians abroad, is to meet the management of the National and Study Library in Trieste.
