Foreign Ministry Says Britain Ready to Take on the Challenge

Ljubljana, 1 July - The British EU presidency comes at a time when citizens of certain member states clearly said they want a Union closer to them, more transparent and more efficient. Great Britain is ready to take on this challenge, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday as Britain assumed the rotating presidency.
