LJUBLJANA/BRDO PRI KRANJU - Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic is due to arrive on an official visit. He is to discuss current European issues and economic topics with President Janez Drnovsek (10:30 AM) and Parliament Speaker France Cukjati (7:30 PM). Drnovsek and Gasparovic are to talk to the press at 11:50 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - French Europe Minister Catherine Colonna is to meet Speaker France Cukjati (9:30 AM), head of the parliament's EU affairs committee Anton Kokalj (10 AM), State Secretary Marcel Koprol (11:30 AM), Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk (5 PM) and FM Dimitrij Rupel (7 PM). A press conference is scheduled for 12:15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The final day of the regional UN conference on violence against children. The plenary session is scheduled for 4:30 PM, the resolutions are to be adopted at 5 PM, with the closing speeches at 5:30 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The financial committee of the successors to the former Yugoslavia is scheduled to hold a meeting to discuss the division of assets held at foreign commercial banks; at 10 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Weekly cabinet session. The agenda includes the draft budget memorandums for 2006 and 2007; amendments to the act on the employment of foreigners; amendments to the acts on public servants and lawmakers; and amendments to the act on public assembly. Press conference at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to host the fifth pan-Slovenian meeting, organised by the parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad. In addition to a plenary session, working groups are to discuss a number of areas ranging from education to Slovenia's tourist promotion; at 10 AM.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The final day of the plenary session of the Committee of the Regions, attended by a Slovenian delegation headed by Maribor mayor Boris Sovic, the committee's vice-chairman.
LJUBLJANA - Asset management firm Nacionalna financna druzba (NFD) is to hold a press conference at 10 AM to present the firm's status on the mutual fund market, and the performance of both of its mutual funds.
TREBNJE - Trimo, a maker of pre-fabricated construction panels, is to present the latest performance indicators at a press conference scheduled for 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Forestry and Food (KGZS) is set to talk to the press at 11 AM to present farmers' position on the 2007-2013 EU budget and unveil their proposal for amendments to the personal income tax act.
LJUBLJANA - An exhibition of works by painter and graphic artist Bogdan Borcic is set to open at the Museum of Recent History at 8 PM. The exhibition focuses on the works made during, or inspired by, his time in the Dachau concentration camp. (STA)
