POTOCARI, Bosnia-Herzegovina - FM Dimitrij Rupel, the OSCE chairman, is to attend a remembrance ceremony (at noon) marking the tenth anniversary of the massacre of some 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The 8th regular parliament session is to commence with questions from the floor for PM Janez Jansa and cabinet members. (STA)
BUDAPEST, Hungary - Bozo Cerar, the state secretary at the Foreign Ministry, is to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of the regional partnership which comprises the Visegrad Group (Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia) plus Slovenia and Austria. The EU's neighbourhood policy is to top the agenda.
CARDIFF, UK - The beginning of an informal meeting of the EU Competitiveness Council, to be attended by Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak and Minister of Higher Education and Science and Technology Jure Zupan.
LJUBLJANA - The Defence Research Centre is to present the results of a public opinion survey dubbed "National and International Security"; at 9:30 AM.
BOVEC - The Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning is to hold a press conference to present the results of the reconstruction efforts in the Posocje region one year after the devastating earthquake; at 11:30 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Education and Sport is to present proposed changes to regulations on pre-school education at a press conference scheduled for noon.
LJUBLJANA - Amnesty International Slovenije is to stage a symbolic action in the centre of the city at 8 PM in remembrance of the victims of the Srebrenica massacre.
LIPICA - The start of the 3rd international poetry and translation workshop, with participation by 23 poets and translators from 13 countries; until 17 July.
