BUDAPEST, Hungary - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to take part in a meeting of prime ministers from the Visegrad Group, plus Austria and Slovenia. The EU constitution and 2007-2013 budget talks are to top the agenda; starting at 7 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume the July session at 10 AM with the first reading of the National Party (SNS)-proposed bill on incompatibility of holding public offices, and amendments to the act on local self-government. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Extraordinary meeting of EU justice and home ministers dealing with the consequences of the terrorist attacks in London. Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Justice Minister Lovro Sturm are to attend. (STA)
MOSCOW, Russia - OSCE chairman, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimtirij Rupel, is due to discuss OSCE-related issues with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov (10 AM local time), Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Chizhov (12:45 PM) and Mikhail Margelov, the chair of the international affairs committee at the Council of the Federation (2:30 PM). LJUBLJANA - The executive committee of the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) is to meet behind closed doors at 5 PM to decide when to call an early election congress. A press statement is scheduled after the meeting.
KRANJ - The shareholders of chemical and tourism group Sava are to convene for an extraordinary shareholders' meeting at 3 PM to vote on a proposed special audit of the company's books for the past five years. (STA)
PORTOROZ - The Agency for Regional Development is to organise a day-long conference on Slovenia's experience with cross-border cooperation; starts at 10 AM, press conference at noon.
LJUBLJANA - The government Office for Drugs is to present local drug-prevention programmes at a press conference starting at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - NGOs making up the Initiative for the Future of NGOs are to present an initiative dubbed "The Future of NGOs according to EU Standards"; at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A round table on the EU accession prospects of Turkey is to be held as part of the summer university Brave New Europe 2005; at 4 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The junior coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) is to comment on current political issues at a press conference at 9 AM.
