Lawmakers Back Amendments to Act on Local Self-Government

Ljubljana, 13 July - Parliament confirmed in Wednesday's second reading the government-proposed amendments to the act on local self-government, which open the way for the creation of new municipalities with population below 5,000 and allow parliament to dismiss mayors.
