Ljubljana, 19 July - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 20 July:

LJUBLJANA - Responding to an initiative of an opposition leader, PM Janez Jansa called a meeting of party leaders, MPs of both ethnic minorities, the minister of regional policy and the European affairs state secretary to discuss the division of Slovenia into regions. The meeting, to begin at 2 PM, will be held behind closed doors, with Jansa expected to make statement for the press at 3 PM. (STA)

VIENNA, Austria - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, who currently chairs the OSCE, is to address a round-table debate themed "30 Years of Helsinki Process: The Contribution of the OSCE in Changing World". The event starts at 4 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Speaker of the National Assembly France Cukjati has convened a working meeting on open issues regarding the controversial, government-sponsored changes to the acts on war graves and victims of war. The meeting, to be held behind closed doors, begins at noon with attendance by PM Janez Jansa. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Culture is set to hold a public presentation of a blueprint for amendments to the media act at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Economics Ministry will speak about the formation of the Public Agency for Small Business and Foreign Investment at a press conference scheduled for 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Commissioner for Access to Public Information Natasa Pirc Musar is to speak to the press at 11 AM about public information-related activity and developments over the past year.

LJUBLJANA - The ZSSS Textile and Leather Industry Union is set to debate the issue of the Lendava-based textile company Koncept Optimum and bankruptcy procedure at the Maribor-based textile company Merinka.

LJUBLJANA - Helsinki Monitor Slovenia is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to discuss the right to a fair trial within reasonable time.

TIRANA, Albania - HiT Gorica, the reigning Slovenian football champions, will play against KF Tirana in the return leg of the first qualifying round for the Champions League. Kick-off at 8:30 PM.
