MONDAY, 8 August

LJUBLJANA - British Ambassador Tim Simmons and director of the International Foundation for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) Dorijan Marsic are to sign a contract on the Great Britain's donation of one million pounds.

TUESDAY, 9 August

No major events are scheduled.

WEDNESDAY, 10 August

LJUBLJANA - An exhibition of Slovenian art from 1995 to 2005, entitled "Territories, Identities, Networks", is to open at the Ljubljana Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

RADOVLJICA - The Radovljica Early Music Festival is to begin with a concert by German ensemble Orlando di Lasso performing "Madrigals of War and of Love" by Claudio Monteverdi (to run until 23 August).

THURSDAY, 11 August

FRIDAY, 12 August

SALZBURG, Austria - Justice Minister Lovro Sturm is to attend a meeting of his counterparts from Austria, Finland, Croatia, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, to talk about Austria's EU presidency in the first half of 2006.

TROJANE - The motorway section between Trojane and Blagovica is to be officially open, in what will be the completion of the 230.7km long motorway Maribor - Ljubljana - Koper.
