Slovenia to Sign a Protocol on Joining GATT

Geneva, 26 September - SLOVENIA/GATT
Slovene Minister of Economic Relations and Development Davorin Kračun is to sign the protocol on joining the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT-47) at the headquarters of GATT in Geneva Tuesday, September 27. Slovenia will thus become the 124th member of GATT-47. The minister, who will be accompanied by the State Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development Vojka Ravbar and representatives of Ministry for Transport and Connections, Ministry of Finance, and representatives of the Bank of Slovenia, is to leave for Geneva on Monday, learned the Slovene Press Agency at the Ministry.
