UNICEF Slovenia to Raise EUR 125,000 for Starving Niger Children

Ljubljana, 8 August - UNICEF Slovenia has launched a campaign in a bid to raise 30 million tolars (EUR 125,000) to feed children in Niger, one of the world's poorest countries whose crop has been destroyed by drought and locusts. Famine threatens 3.6 million people, almost half of them children, an UNICEF Slovenia official told the press on Monday.
