Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 13 to 19 August

Ljubljana, 20 August - Just a week before the government returns from the summer recess to do business as usual, the environment and foreign ministries announced they had drafted a bill under which Slovenia would declare an ecological zone and continental shelf in the Adriatic. Slovenian parties have voiced unanimous approval, while there have been no official reactions from Croatia and Italy which would be affected by the move.
