Papers Comment on Pope Benedict's First Visit Abroad

Ljubljana, 22 August - The papers are unanimous in the assessment that Pope Benedict XVI has shown himself to be different than his predecessor, John Paul II, at the World Youth Days in Cologne, his first travel abroad as Pope. Both Delo and Vecer suggest that he will be even stricter in theological terms that Karol Woytila.
