Strike to affect most of the population
Ljubljana, 17 March - The general strike scheduled for tomorrow, March 18, in consequence of the rejection of Slovenian Trade Unions' demands for a fair price of work, guaranteed minimum wages, the honouring of collective agreements, the opening of new jobs, social security and the respect for workers' and human rights, will affect the life and work of not only those on strike, but the majority of the Slovenian population as well, because of the imminent road blockades, traffic jams and electricity and production reductions.
