Ljubljana, 24 August - Below is a schedule of events for Thursday, 25 August:

LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its weekly session, the first after the summer break. The bill on the declaration of an ecological zone and continental shelf is to top the agenda alongside amendments to the act on notary services and a proposed set of measures to deal with the consequences of recent flooding. A press conference is scheduled for 2 PM. (STA)

OTOCEC - Drug maker Krka is to present interim business results and future plans at a press conference scheduled for 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The supervisory board of national telco Telekom Slovenije is to examine the report on an extraordinary audit at the group, and debate half-yearly results.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Trade (OZS) is to talk to the press about current problems that small businesses are faced with, as well as ways of improving their situation; at noon.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Hunter's Association is to hold a press conference at which they will urge the government to discuss the non-implementation of the hunting and game administration act; at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to receive Stanislav Rozman, a Slovenian missionary working in Malawi and the former Slovenian Honorary Consul in Zambia.

DOMZALE - Domzale will take on Ashdod of Israel in the return leg of the second round of qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Kick-off is at 7 PM.

SOFIA, Bulgaria - CMC Publikum is to play Levski Sofia for a spot in the next round of the UEFA Cup; at 7:15 PM.
