Merkur Profits Hit by Plunging Steel Prices

Naklo, 25 August - Hardware group Merkur missed profit forecasts by 6.6% in the first six months of this year. Net profit, at SIT 1.28bn (EUR 5.34m) was hurt in particular by the falling prices of steel on the world markets, the company reported after the supervisory board session on Thursday.
