Ljubljana, 28 August - The government allocated EUR 0.33m for emergency services after last weekend's flash floods hit the northeast of Slovenia. Farmers demanded resignation of the president of the Agriculture Chamber, but not because a Slovenian cow was diagnosed with BSE. Positive half-yearly results by many heavy-weights could not reverse the falling trend of the stock exchange SBI 20 benchmark index.
