Petek Case Suspects Acquitted, Prosecution Will Appeal

Murska Sobota, 29 August - All five suspects in the attempted murder of ex-journalist Miro Petek have been acquitted of all charges by the Murska Sobota District Court in a verdict handed down 15 months after the start of the trial on Monday. The prosecution, led by Elizabeta Gyoerkoes, has already said it will appeal the verdict.
