Eight PMs Want Start of Accession Talks with Croatia
Bristol, 1 September - Eight EU prime ministers, among them Slovenia's Janez Jansa, have called for the start of accession talks with Croatia in September. In a letter addressed to British PM Tony Blair, the premiers insist that Croatia fully cooperates with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, which is the precondition for membership talks.
