Ljubljana, 3 September - Croatia and Slovenia slipped into yet another argument: Croatia has decried Slovenia's the decision to declare an ecological zone and continental shelf in the Adriatic as unlawful, whilst Slovenia insists it is perfectly lawful, underpinned by domestic and international law. However, the media spotlight shifted sharply when all five defendants charged with brutally attacking journalist Miro Petek were acquitted, generating surprise among the public but hardly shocking those who watched the trial closely.
