Freedom of Media Is Crucial, President Stresses

Ljubljana, 9 September - President Janez Drnovsek has spoken out for media freedom just two weeks before the referendum on the RTV Slovenija act. We need free, independent media, as well as free and independent journalists who think with their own head and cannot be influenced by politics, capital or anyone else, he said on Friday.
