Ljubljana, 12 September - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 13 September:
RIGA, Latvia - PM Janez Jansa is to visit Latvia as part of his tour of Baltic states, meeting with his counterpart Aigars Kalvitis (10 AM) and Deputy Parliament Speaker Vineta Muizniece (2:40 PM). Meanwhile, FM Dimitrij Rupel is set to hold talks with his counterpart Artis Pabriks (9 AM), while Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to meet Latvian Economics Minister Krisjanis Karins (9:30 AM). A Latvian-Slovenian business forum is scheduled for 10:30 AM. (STA)
NEW YORK, the US - Starting his official visit to the US, President Janez Drnovsek is to meet counterparts from around the world for talks dedicated to promoting peaceful dialogue. He is also set to meet the director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University and the director of the Millennium Programme, Jefferey Sachs. (STA)
BERLIN, Germany - Defence ministers of NATO member states are to hold a two-day informal session, to be attended by Slovenian Defence Minister Karl Erjavec. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - National military representatives of NATO member states are set to visit the Franc Rozman Stane barracks in Ljubljana as part of their visit to Slovenia. The head of the delegation, Danish General Ib Hedegaard Sorensen and Slovenia's national military representative Anton Turk are to give a press statement at 10:45 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Environment Ministry is to present to the press this year's European Mobility Week and the 2005 report on the use of biofuels in transport; at 11 AM.
MARIBOR - The senate of the Maribor University is set to convene an extraordinary session at 10 AM to mark the 30th anniversary of what is the second-largest university in the country.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Karitas is set to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present an appeal to world leaders entitled "Make Poverty History".
LJUBLJANA - A press conference ahead of the Ex ponto festival of contemporary theatre, which is set to open on 17 September; at 11 AM.
