Papers Divided over Cuts in Notary Fees

Ljubljana, 16 September - Slovenia's leading dailies are divided in their assessment of what the cuts in notary fees mandated by the government on Thursday will bring. Whereas Friday's Delo hails the Justice Ministry's decision and decries the notaries' claims that the move will jeopardise their livelihood, Dnevnik is concerned that some notaries will indeed be unable to survive, and therefore start looking for other jobs.
