NEW YORK, the US - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to hold talks with his counterparts from Thailand and Italy, Khantathi Suphamongkon and Gianfranco Fini, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. He is also expected to attend a working lunch of the Human Security Network.
ZBILJE - The annual gathering of the coalition New Slovenia (NSi) is set to start at 2 PM. NSi president Andrej Bajuk is to address party members at 4 PM. (STA)
BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - Milan Zver, the minister of education and sport, is to start a two-day informal visit to Serbia-Montenegro. The possibility of introducing Serbian as an elective subject in Slovenian schools is to top the agenda in talks with his counterpart Slobodan Vuksanovic.
LJUBLJANA - The start of the 39th annual congress of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA), running until 23 September.
