NEW YORK, the US - Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a general debate at the 60 UN General Assembly session, have a working breakfast with EU foreign ministers and meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - The final day of the meeting of EU economics ministers and their counterparts from 13 Asian countries, with Slovenia's Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak in attendance.

NOVA GORICA - The coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) leader Karl Erjavec is to meet representatives of the party's regional and local committees at 5 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (GZS) and the Interprojekt company from Belgrade are to sign a contract giving the GZS access to daily information on public tenders and other news from Serbia-Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina; at noon.

STICNA - The 24th traditional meeting of Slovenian Catholic youth, where a Mass is to be given by Archbishop of Ljubljana Alojz Uran at 11:30 AM.

PORTOROZ - A traditional meeting of WWII concentration camp victims, prisoners and abducted children, organised by the Association of Slovenian WWII Veterans, is to begin at 11 AM.

NOVO MESTO - Anti-discrimination activities by government agencies and NGOs are to be presented at the "Stop the Violence" event at 5 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The final pageant for Miss Slovenia 2005 to begin at the Cankarjev dom arts centre at 8:45 PM.

BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - Slovenia will play Greece in the second round of the European Basketball Championships, to start at 8:30 PM, group C. (STA)
