A Review of Events in Slovenia from September 24 to 30
Ljubljana, 1 October - The last week in September and the first week of autumn was surprisingly hot in Slovenia, especially for this time of year. Moreover, it was also a very busy and successful week for members of parliament, who passed a series of laws, among which was also the package of legislation bills. Slovenia finally got its first ombudsman; at the proposition of President of State Milan Kučan, Parliament elected Ivo Bizjak, member of the Slovene Christian Democrats, the first ombudsman.
