LJUBLJANA - Voters will decide on the government-sponsored act on public broadcaster RTV Slovenija in a referendum. Polls are to open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM. Early unofficial results are expected to be released in the evening. (STA)

POSTOJNA - The municipality of Postojna, SW, is to hold a referendum on a controversial waste disposal centre the local authorities would like to build near the town. Polls are to open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM.

WASHINGTON, the US - Slovenia's Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk and the central bank governor Mitja Gaspari are to take part in the final day of proceedings at the two-day annual meeting of the WB and IMF.

GORNJA RADGONA - The curtain is to be drawn on the Modern Army fair, the main fair in the field of defence technology in Slovenia.
