MONDAY, 26 September
        BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to begin a two-day visit to Belgrade, where he will be received by his host Milan Paridovic, Serbian minister for international economic relations.
        LJUBLJANA - The September parliament session is to start with questions addressed to PM Janez Jansa and the ministers.
        LJUBLJANA - The Union of Metal and Electronic Industries (SKEI) is to speak to the press about the talks on wages and a token strike which is to be staged on Tuesday in case of unsuccessful negotiations.
        LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) is to present to the press its standpoints on the planned amendments to the law on companies.
        PTUJ - A new section of the motorway in the northeastern region of Pomurje from Maribor towards Hungary is to be presented at a press conference of the Slovenian Motorway Company (DARS).
        LJUBLJANA - The Jozef Stefan Institute, the leading Slovenian research centre, is to present its work in the field of radiation, dosimetry and nuclear physics.
        LJUBLJANA - Economics Ministry and Environment Ministry are to host a seminar on nature and tourism.
        LJUBLJANA - Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan is to meet Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic and the heads of the Slovenian Students' Organisation (SOS).

        SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - The OSCE chairman-in-office and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit Sarajevo.
        STRASBOURG, France - European Affairs State Secretary Marcel Koprol is to take part in a two-day Europa forum.
        LJUBLJANA - Mihela Zupancic, the new head of the Representation of the European Commission in Slovenia, is to present her views on her new post and the tasks of the office.
        LJUBLJANA - The bank Bawag banka is to present the press the performance and business plans of Bawag banka in Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - The supervisory board of the National Farmland and Forest Fund is to hold a session.
        LJUBLJANA - The Public Health Institute is to host a consultation on vaccination against meningocephalitis for children.

WEDNESDAY, 28 September
        LJUBLJANA - Romanian FM Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu is expected to visit Slovenia, where he will be received by his Slovenian counterpart and host Dimitrij Rupel as well as PM Janez Jansa.
        LJUBLJANA - Marking World Tourism Day, Economics Ministry, World Tourism Organisation and the Slovenian Tourism Association are to stage a round table on tourism and traffic. Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak to take part.
        LJUBLJANA - The parliament's commission on the prevention of corruption is to meet.
        ROGASKA SLATINA - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk, Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant and Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic are to participate in a round table of the Manager Association.
        LJUBLJANA - The bank Raiffeisen Krekova banka is to talk to the press about its investment funds in Slovenia, Austria and the rest of Europe.

        LJUBLJANA - French Minister for Ecology and Sustainable Development Nelly Olin is to start her two-day visit to Slovenia.
        KESZTHELY, Hungary - Justice Minister Lovro Sturm and State Secretary Robert Marolt are to participate in the 17th symposium of Pannonian jurists.

        BLED - Slovenia's Constitutional Court and CoE's Venetian Commission are to host the third conference of the courts' secretary generals.
        LJUBLJANA - The Foundation for the Financing of Organisations for the Disabled and Humanitarian Organisations (FIHO) is to hold a session.

        LJUBLJANA - The Institute of Contemporary History is to host a two-day conference on the end of WWII in the history of Central European countries.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held ahead of the conclusion (2 October) of the 26th Ljubljana International Biennial of Graphic Arts, entitled "Thrust", which opened on 23 June.

FRIDAY, 30 September
        LJUBLJANA - Vladimir Spidla, EU commissioner for employment, social affairs and equal opportunities, is to visit Slovenia.
        WARSAW, Poland - The OSCE chairman and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend the OSCE Implementation Meeting on Human Dimension Issues.
        POSTOJNA - French Minister for Ecology and Sustainable Development Nelly Olin and Environment Minister Janez Podobnik are to sign an agreement on transferring five brown bears from the Slovenian southern regions of Kocevje and Sneznik to the Pyrenees mountains.
        IZLAKE - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is expected at a conference of the power utility Holding Slovenske elektrarne (HSE).
        RADECE - Minister of Education and Sports Milan Zver to take part in the 100th anniversary of primary school in Radece, east.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be staged ahead of the 11th "City of Women" International Festival of Contemporary Art, which is to take place between 7 and 14 October.
