Minister Peterle on Relations with Italy and the European Union

Ljubljana, 4 October - Foreign Minister of Slovenia Lojze Peterle, who stepped down from his post in the Slovene Government on October 1, assessed at the regular monthly news conference in Ljubljana on Tuesday that the activities of Slovene diplomacy in September were most stongly marked by settlement of relations between Slovenia and Italy in the spirit of preparations for the delivering of the mandate for negotiations on associated membership of Slovenia in the European Union.
