Croatian Minister of Nautical Affairs comments the "Fishing Rights War"

Zagreb, 27 March - "Regarding the issue of fishing rights in Croatian waters, the principle of breaking down the tension will have to be applied. This principle involves barring foreign fishermen from our waters entirely. This policy is dictated by the need to protect our own fishermen as well as by the fact that it is our duty to set constant measures for the protection and preservation of the natural resources of that part of the Adriatic Sea which belongs to Croatia," stressed the Croatian Minister of Nautical Affairs, Davorin Rudolf, in an information bulletin on the presence of Slovene fishermen in Croatian waters. The matter was also discussed at today's sitting of the Croatian Assembly.
