Two Slovenians sentenced to prison in Norway for drug trafficking

Two young Slovenians have been sentenced to prison sentences for trying to smuggle more than 30 kilogrammes of cocaine into Norway last summer, Večer and Slovenske Novice reported on Friday. They got nine years and nine years and a half. Under the Norwegian law, the pair may request to serve the sentence in Slovenia.

She believes long-term human resource policies are needed, as well as better cooperation between the healthcare and social systems, among other things.

Ljubljana-Domžale motorway expansion work enters main phase

Months after the motorway company DARS launched extensive work on the A1 motorway between Domžale and Ljubljana, the EUR 100 million project will be moving into its main phase this weekend: expansion from four to six lanes. By winter, work is to be completed on the Ljubljana-bound carriageway, with the other direction scheduled for next year.

Ankaran requests court review of Koper port spatial plan
