Impeachment Debate Focuses on Ljubljana Mayor, Gantar Stays Speaker
Ljubljana, 21 May - The opposition Democrats (SDS) failed in a 28:47 vote in parliament on Friday with their motion to dismiss Speaker Pavel Gantar over his refusal to call a session on the funding of a new stadium in Ljubljana. The coalition rejected the SDS's accusations, claiming the party abused the debate to attack Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic.
