Numerous Slovenes Express Solidarity with Two Slovene Priests on Trial in Italy
Ljubljana, 25 January - A court in Italy's Pordenone is expected to resume on 7 February the process against Bozo Zuanello and Marino Qualizzo, two priests of Slovene origin from Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The pair is tried for disclosing in their book the workings of a secret organisation from the northeasternmost part of Italy which equalled its fight against communism with the fight against the language and culture of the Slovene ethnic minority in the region.
