Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon called on Israel to abandon its plan to attack Rafah as she met her counterpart Israel Katz in Jerusalem on Sunday. She said the recognition of a Palestinian state was no longer an issue for Slovenia.

Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon will pay a visit to Israel and the West Bank on Sunday, meeting with senior officials to discuss ways to resolve the conflict in what is her second visit to the region since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip.
