Roman Leljak, a controversial author and archives researcher, has been denied entry to Australia, where he was to present to the Croatian diaspora his book and film which deny the crimes committed by the Croatian fascist Ustasche organisation during WWII.

Popovič's request for recount in Koper denied, Bržan stays winner

The Koper electoral commission has rejected in full a request for a recount of ballots cast in Sunday's mayoral run-off filed by outgoing Mayor Boris Popovič. A recount nevertheless took place in one polling station, with the election winner, radio host Aleš Bržan, getting a few more votes.

Slovenia to join UN-sponsored migration agreement

UN members will meet in Marrakesh, Morocco on Monday and Tuesday to adopt a global agreement on migrations which has divided the European and Slovenian public. Slovenia will endorse it. Its delegation at the inter-governmental conference will be led by Interior Ministry State Secretary Sandi Čurin.
