Slovenia received Croatia's reply to the lawsuit over the non-implementation of the border arbitration agreement last Friday, Foreign Ministry State Secretary Dobran Božič told the press in Brussels on Tuesday. He said Slovenia could submit a rejoinder by 13 February.

Slovenia issued a new 10-year benchmark bond to the value of EUR 1.5bn on Monday as the first EU country to test the market in 2019, the Finance Ministry said.

Several events will be held in Ljubljana this month to mark 200 years since the death of poet, writer and linguist Valentin Vodnik (1758-1818). Vodnik was one of the first acclaimed poets to write in Slovenian.
