President Borut Pahor stressed that Sunday's central commemoration marking the end of World War One in Paris celebrates a commitment of states and world leaders to peace. "We want to enhance our common efforts towards this fundamental value," he was quoted by his office as saying.

Sunday's elections held in the pro-Russian areas in eastern Ukraine are "against the Minsk agreements", the Foreign Ministry says in a statement, reiterating Slovenia's support for the country's "sovereignty, territorial integrity, unity and independence within its internationally recognised borders".
