Ljubljana, 18 January - The acceptance of Slovenia into the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has crowned the efforts of our politicians to achieve full international recognition. Membership of the IMF also means recognition of the monetary sovereignty of a new state which in the last year has been striving to prove that it is capable of operating under the rules of the developed world, writes Irena Ferluga in today's Večer.
