Koper-Divača rail project cost reportedly higher than planned

As the investment plan for the construction of a new railway connecting the Koper port is expected to be put forward to the government soon, the business newspaper Finance reported on Tuesday that the total costs of the project, excluding financing costs, are estimated at EUR 1.168bn or EUR 1.233bn including the EUR 65m already spent.
