Matej Tonin was elected fully-fledged leader of the New Slovenia (NSi) at the party convention on Saturday after acting as caretaker since the resignation of Ljudmila Novak in late January.

The new German government has not changed its position on the border arbitration between Slovenia and Croatia and still expects the two countries will reach a bilateral agreement on how to implement the arbitration tribunal's award, Delo reports on Saturday quoting a German Foreign Ministry spokesman.
