Janković to get involved in election to thwart Janša's win

Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković broke silence about his potential role in the 3 June general election, declaring that he would get involved, but was yet to decide "in what way and how intensely". He was willing to do everything in his power to prevent a victory by Democrat leader Janez Janša.

Stand-off over N-plant management continues

Slovenian and Croatian energy officials failed to reach agreement over the shared management of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) on Wednesday and will resume talks after the plant is brought back online following a one-month scheduled maintenance at the end of this month.

Ljubljana hosting TEN-T Days until Friday

Ljubljana will host between Wednesday and Friday the most important event dedicated to transport hosted biannually by the European Commission. As part of TEN-T Days the Commission announces its strategic guidelines and sets the main financial framework for the future.
