Prime Minister Marjan Šarec met Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in Vienna on Wednesday, praising good relations between the two countries, in particular economic cooperation. Nevertheless, countries have certain issues, but "they're nothing we couldn't tackle," Šarec acknowledged.

The tender of the national motorway company DARS for a second tube of the Karavanke motorway tunnel between Slovenia and Austria seems in danger of sliding into a spiral of appeals. The Turkish contractor Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, whose selection by DARS has been annulled by the National Review Commission, insists its bid remains relevant.
