Cerar wants discussion in Slovenia on Nuclear Forces Treaty

Foreign Minister Miro Cerar has announced a discussion in Slovenia on the developments regarding the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), as the Russian breach of the treaty and the possibility of the US withdrawing from it is a serious security threat for European countries and potentially also for Slovenia.

Cengiz rejects review commission, insists its tunnel bid still part of tender

The tender of the national motorway company DARS for a second tube of the Karavanke motorway tunnel between Slovenia and Austria seems in danger of sliding into a spiral of appeals. The Turkish contractor Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, whose selection by DARS has been annulled by the National Review Commission, insists its bid remains relevant.
