Tourism takes toll on Slovenia's famous lake, algae multiply

The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has been notified that golden-brown algae have multiplied at Lake Bled. Bathers should therefore avoid water activities where the algae are visibly present and take a shower after bathing.

Ministry rejects arbitration-related statements by new Croatian FM

The Slovenian Foreign Ministry responded on Friday to the recent statements in the media by new Croatian Foreign Minister Goran Grlić Radman related to the border arbitration between the countries. The ministry told the STA that the minister had uttered "several non-truths", which Slovenia resolutely rejected.
